UNODC’s Learning an Innovation Programme develops and delivers cutting-edge tools, activities and resources to build capacities that enhance criminal justice responses to diverse human security and health challenges. The Programme’s areas of work include delivering digital training, providing pedagogical support and supporting digitalization.
What is the UNODC SPARK Platform?
SPARK is UNODC’s eLearning Platform which offers numerous online tools designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of criminal justice practitioners. Operational 24/7, the Platform reaches an extensive number of criminal justice practitioners globally and hosts over 800 eLearning modules, eClasses and webinars in over 30 languages.
What digital training tools are available on the UNODC SPARK Platform?
The Learning and Innovation Team develops and delivers a wide range of online and digitial tools, including:

What is the difference between public and restricted modules?
The public area consists of eLearning modules available for the wider public, free-of-charge. Anyone can access this area after registering on the UNODC SPARK Platform. We are often adding new learning modules to the public area and recommend accessing the platform regularly to check for new modules.
Access to the restricted area of the UNODC SPARK Platform is reserved to designated groups upon agreement with UNODC. If the institution you represent or belong to is interested in receiving UNODC eLearning training in any of the areas encompassed by the UNODC mandates, we would be glad to consider an official request via email.

If you forget your password, you may use the "Lost password?" option on the registration/login page.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, a certification of completion will be issued by UNODC if you pass the knowledge test with a minimum of 80%. You may access and download your certificate through the right-hand side menu of the platform.
Can I retake the post-test?
You may retake the post-test as many times as you wish. A minimum of 80% is necessary in order to obtain the certification of completion.
How often can I access a module?
You may access your account as many times as you wish, as well as the modules. Pre-test and post-test results are saved every time an attempt is made.
What is the UNODC SPARK mobile application?
The UNODC SPARK mobile application improves learner experience when accessing the eLearning Platform from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. The application also enables learners to download training modules and access them offline, contributing to accessibility in areas with limited or unreliable internet connectivity.
When will new courses and translations be available?
The Learning and Innovation Programme continually produces and translates new modules and courses based on needs assessed with Member States. Once completed, these modules and translations are made available to Member States officials and, if appropriate, to the general public.
